Intelligent IT Solutions celebrates landmarks
Press Release 13/09/2013
A Cardiff-based Managed IT Service Provider is celebrating having achieved a number of landmarks following a change in its strategic direction a year ago.
Intelligent IT Solutions, one of Wales’ leading suppliers of integrated IT support, hardware and software solutions, has secured a respected industry credential, doubled its customer base and enhanced its ability to service clients that use Apple products and software through securing official Apple Accreditations.
The accolade the company has secured is the CompTIA Accredit UK Trustmark™, a respected industry credential that signifies business excellence within the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry.
The CompTIA Accredit UK Trustmark was developed by CompTIA, the non-profit association for the ICT industry, in collaboration with industry experts and leaders, to identify companies that demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver top quality ICT solutions and services. Intelligent IT Solutions has become only the second company in the Cardiff area to secure this accolade.
Ben Russell, Director of Intelligent IT Solutions, said:
“We are delighted to have secured this accolade. We have worked hard over the past year to constantly improve our standards, innovation and customer service and this achievement is a reflection of that. We have always sought to improve our standards and this rewards all that hard work.”
John McGlinchey, vice president, Europe and Middle East, CompTIA, said: “Earning this credential identifies Intelligent IT Solutions as a business that meets or exceeds the best business practices the ICT industry has to offer.”
Intelligent IT Solutions was established in 2005. Its first client, which remains one of its biggest, is accountancy firm ktsowensthomas. A year ago, however, demand from the market prompted the company to re-launch its offering and expand its scope to service clients additional requirements.
As part of its new focus, it also joined forces with Richard Tubb, a well-known and successful entrepreneur in the IT world, who now works for the company as a consultant.
Since then, the company has doubled its client base and expanded its service offering.
As part of this process, it has invested in Apple Mac training for its staff and further experienced engineers. Director Ben Russell has also obtained two Apple Accreditations personally.
Ben Russell said:
“We were getting requests for IT support in the Apple Mac arena. We felt this was a gap in the market and we have invested heavily to take advantage of this space. As a business we can now support both Microsoft and Apple products.”
